As a child growing up in the Clear Lake area (near Houston), I often traveled with my family to East Texas. My parents purchased Lake Jacksonville property in the late sixties, where I collected fond memories of swimming, skiing, shelling peas, picking blackberries for Mom's fresh cobbler, and riding our Honda Trail 90 through the back roads. At any given time, I can still conjure the smell of those towering pine trees!
I received my real estate license in the early 1990s, and began working in various real estate venues in the Austin area.
Several years ago I "fled" the big city, seeking refuge in East Texas where I could continue my real estate career. My clients often use the term "fun" when describing their experience with me as their agent ... I can only assume that this is a byproduct of my enthusiasm for the East Texas area.
My time is now divided between working with wonderful clients, and spending time with my husband and my "other" immediate family -- my dogs and horses. I am also an avid animal advocate, longtime supporter of our local shelter, and a passionate promoter of spaying/neutering.
In addition, I have received the National Association of Realtor's Green Designation. As such, I am equipped with the knowledge and the tools necessary to become a trusted green resource for my clients and the community. To learn more, click here. |
